Pre Matric Scholarships (Government of AP)
Pre Metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the economically backward minority students studying in class 6th to 10th whose parent/guardian income is below Rs 1 lakh per annum. The rates of Scholarship are as follows:

Pre Metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the economically backward Minority students from 6th to 10th Class, Whose family income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh- per annum. The Scholarship amount shall be disbursed to the students who put in 75% attendance in normal time. Procedure for Disbursement
- The eligible students should submit filled in application forms through the institutions to the Executive Director/DMWOs of the concerned districts.
- On receipt of scholarship forms, EDs/DMWOs will scrutinize all application forms and data will be enterd in the website through online and submit the eligible students list to the selection committee for approval.
- The Selection Committee consists of Joint Collector, District Education Officer, ED APSMFC/DMWO. The list will be approved by the committee duly following the procedure for sanction of scholarships.
The scholarship amount will be released to the students bank account directly from the ED/DMWO's office.
Post Matric Scholarships (Government of AP)
The post matric scholarships are sanctioned to the students of Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation and Professional Courses. Post Metric Scholarship will be sanctioned to the Economically Backward Minority students whose parents/guardians annual income does not exceeds Rs 1 lakh per annum. The post metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the minority students of Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation and Professional Courses as follows:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Post Metric Scholarship & Fee reimbursement will be sanctioned to the Economically Backward Minority students.
- Whose parents / guardians annual income does not exceeds Rs 1 lakh.
- If the distance between the residence of the student and institution is below 5 KM Scholarship will not be sanctioned.
- If the distance is above 5 KM it will be treated as Student Managed Hostel and Scholarship will be sanctioned as per SMH rate.
- Fee Reimbursement will be sanctioned to all the Students irrespective of distance whose parents income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh on par with social welfare department.
- The Scholarship amount shall be disbursed to the students who put in 75% attendance in normal time
Pre Matric Scholarships (Government of India)
Pre Matric Scholarship will be awarded for students studying in a Government or Recognized Private Schools from Class I to Class X.
ELIGIBILITY:- The Annual Income of Parents/ Guardian of the student from all sources does not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh.
- The student should secure not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination for II to XClass students.
- 30% of Scholarships will be earmarked for Girl students. In case sufficient numbers of eligible girl students are not available, then the balance scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students.
- The Students who are permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh, but studying in other States are also eligible.
- The Scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other Govt. scholarship or stipend.
Note:-Those who got the GOI Scholarship for 2008-09 shall have to apply for Renewal of Scholarship for 2009-10.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:- Distribution of Scholarships will be on the basis of targets communicated by the Govt. of India among notified minorities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis).
- Students from BPL families having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order.
- Scholarships will be awarded for only two members in a family.
HOW TO APPLY:
- The students must submit their application in prescribed Application form available in web site www.christianminorities.ap.nic.in and also can obtain Application Form from our District Offices.
- The application form along with required documents shall be submitted to the District Minorities Welfare Officer / Executive Directors Office of the concerned Districts through the Head Master of the concerned School.
- Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar/Salary Certificate from Employer/Affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper.
- Bonafide Certificate (As above)
- Photo Copy of Bank pass book in Joint Account of Parent and Student
- Photo Copy of Previous year marks certificate (Progress report)
- Proof of permanent residence of Parent/Guardian Ration Card/Voter Id/ Electricity Bill / Gas Bill or any other document.
- Photograph Attested by Head master
- Minority Community Declaration- Affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper

Post Matric Scholarship (Government of India)
Post Matric Scholarships will be awarded to the students, pursuing studies from Class XI to PhD from Government/Recognized private Colleges/including technical and Vocational Courses of Courses of Class XI and XII level in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centers affiliated with National Council for Vocational Training. And those courses which are not covered in Merit cum Means Based Scholarship.
ELIGIBILITY:
- The annual Income of Parents/Guardian of the student from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.
- The Student should secure not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
- 30% of Scholarships will be earmarked for Girl students. In case sufficient number of eligible girl students are not available, then the balance scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students.
- The Students who are permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh, but studying in other States are also eligible.
- The Scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other Govt. Scholarship or stipend.
- Students who got Admission in other then Category `A Convener Quota can also apply.

Merit -cum -Means based scholarships
Merit-cum-Means based scholarships are awarded to the students pursuing technical or professional courses at under Graduate/Post graduate level. These scholarships are awarded to students whose Parents/Guardian annual Income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
Eligibility:
- Students who got admission into a College in Technical/Professional courses on the basis of competitive examination.
- Students who got admission without facing any competitive examination but should have got not less than 50% marks at higher secondary (Inter)/Graduation level.
- Students who are studying in Top listed Institutions of Govt. Of India are eligible for full courses fee and also given first priority in selection.
- Students who are studying in Institutions other than top listed Institutions are eligible for course fee of Rs.20, 000/- per annum or actual fees whichever is less.
The students must submit their application through online i.e. (www.christianminorities.ap.nic.in).The hard copy (printout) of the application form along with required documents shall be submitted to the Ex-Officio District Manager, APSCMFC through the Schools/Institutions.
The students pursuing post matric courses out side the State should submit applications through their colleges directly to the Dedicated Cell, Government of India Scholarships, APSMFC, 6th Floor, A.P. Haj House, Opp. Public Garden, Nampally, Hyderabad
