West Bengal Urdu Academy has undertaken following training programme. a)   Calligraphy & Graphic Designing Course:-  Duration - 2 (two) years Capacity - 25 students Scholarship - Rs.200/-per student per month b)    Urdu Language Course:- In collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. Ministry of H.R.D. Government of India Duration - 2 years Capacity - 60 students c)     Bengali Language Course:- Duration - 1 year Capacity -60 students per centre-(at present 50 centres are runningin all over state) d)     Computer application and multilingual DTP Course:- In collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. Ministry of H.R.D. Government of India Duration 1 year Capacity 80 students e)    Arabic Language Course:- In collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language Ministry of H.R.D.
