Maulana Azad Minorities Financial Development Corporation - Government of Maharastra undertaking

Maulana Azad Minorities Financial Development Corporation Limited, Mumbai (“MAMFDC”), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking registered under Companies Act 1956, is the Maharashtra state’s channelizing agency of Government of India’s National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation run by the Union Minority Affairs Ministry. It was constituted to meet the financial requirements and social uplift of financially backward classes amongst the minorities.

· Maulana Azad Minorities Financial Development Corporation Limited, Mumbai, setup during year 2000, implements various schemes of National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation in Maharashtra to provide loans to the minority communities.

Corporation’s Aims and objectives :

· To Promote  Socio economic and developmental activities including grant of loans to the economically weaker sections of the minorities.

· To promote self employment and other ventures for the benefit of educated unemployed minorities.

· To provide vocational training for the social and economic upliftment of minorities Community.

· To provide educational loans to students of minorities community for higher technical education and professional courses.
